October 1, 2026, late morning ET. Two PrimeFlow stock trades closed today and are now documented in the public trade log: VUZI, entered September 25 at $2.83 and exited October 1 at $2.99, for a +5.65% stock move; and FRSH, entered September 14 at $12.51 and exited October 1 at $13.26, for a +6.00% stock move. These are individual closed-trade results, not account returns or a claim about typical outcomes. The public log also records losses. Past results do not predict future results.

Friday’s employment report creates a different task: decide what you will watch before the first move. The 40 Minutes That Matter workshop teaches a session clock and price map for that preparation. The video and two one-page guides are currently $7 one time, reduced from $49. It is a separate educational product, not the source of the closed-trade results above.

The market’s larger question today is whether firm factory demand can coexist with renewed input-price pressure. The Institute for Supply Management’s September manufacturing report put its headline PMI at 54.5, little changed from August’s 54.6 and above the 50 expansion line. New orders rose to 55.3 from 53.7. The prices index climbed to 77.9 from 71.1.

Why the ISM prices index matters before Friday’s jobs report

That 77.9 reading is an index showing how widespread price increases are among surveyed manufacturers; it is not an inflation rate. Still, its 6.8-point rise gives bond investors another reason to question how quickly price pressure will ease. In AP’s approximately 10:15 a.m. ET snapshot, the 10-year Treasury yield was 5.32%, up from 5.29% late Wednesday, while the S&P 500 was down about 0.2%. Those intraday readings can change before the close.

Labor data did not point to a sudden break. The Labor Department reported 197,000 initial unemployment claims for the week ended September 26, down from the previous week’s revised 198,000. The four-week average was 200,000. Claims describe a weekly flow of new applications; they are not a forecast of Friday’s payroll number.

What to watch at 8:30 a.m. ET Friday

The September employment report is scheduled for October 2 at 8:30 a.m. ET. The useful sequence for a trader is to read the release, watch the first response in Treasury yields, and then see whether stock prices hold their early direction. If yields rise further while equity participation narrows, an opening move deserves extra scrutiny. If the bond reaction reverses, the market may reassess today’s factory-price concern. Neither outcome is known in advance.

The 40 Minutes That Matter workshop is a practical way to prepare that observation plan. The video workshop covers the session clock and the price levels to mark before the open; it includes The Session Clock and The Level Map one-page cheat sheets. The page currently lists it at $7 one time instead of $49—a $42 discount—with lifetime access. All sales are final. The workshop is educational; it did not produce the trade-log results above and cannot guarantee a trading outcome.

One more close appeared in the log since the prior issue: CUPR, entered September 28 at $1.95 and exited September 29 at $2.01, a documented +3.08% stock move. Its dates matter: it was recorded after yesterday’s cutoff but is not a trade that closed today. Check the dated entries and the full record.

Market snapshot as of October 1, approximately 10:15 a.m. ET; trade log checked later that morning. Educational research, not individualized investment advice. Stocks and options carry substantial risk, including loss of principal. Past results do not guarantee future results.
